Memories From the Highlands Contour Map Wall Art
A shield-like bespoke contour map, created to celebrate a lovely couple’s first wedding anniversary.
This handmade oxidised (blackened) copper map depicts the region Jo’s wife grew up, in a village East of the city of Inverness, overlooking the Moray Firth. The main rivers are picked out in bright copper, whilst a few special locations, including Loch Ness Beach, Fyrish Monument and a theatre in Inverness, are marked with small silver spheres.
I wanted to get something special for my wife to remind her of her home in the Highlands. Holly helped me through the whole process and designed a beautiful contour map which looks incredible in our living room.
Holly was able to add markers for locations that are meaningful to my wife.
The end result stunned my wife and we couldn't be happier. Thank you very much Holly!
