Cagliari, Sardinia Anniversary Contour Map Wall Piece
A special anniversary piece, featuring the couple's stunning wedding location - a little chapel in Sardinia's capital, Cagliari. It's also the motherland of one half of the happy couple, so it's a hugely meaningful place for them all round.
The church is marked on the map with a tiny, delicate piece of red coral, found on the beach on the Italian island. I don't work with pearls or coral as a rule (for ethical & moral reasons), but as the client found this 3mm piece himself on a stroll, I made an exception.
The brushed brass areas reflect the gorgeous expanse of brilliant turquoise waters, the sea and the inland lagoons (Saline di Quartu, Stagno di Molentargius and Stagno Simbirizzi)
