Ilmington Father's Day Contour Map Cufflinks
When my sister realised that our Dad didn’t yet own a pair of my map cufflinks, we decided that this year was the perfect opportunity to make him some as a Father’s Day gift. With her wedding coming up at the end of June, it was great timing - the ideal opportunity to wear such finery (and we knew he needed a pair, as he’d already asked to borrow some from me!).
The cufflinks both show home, the place our parents have lived for the last 25 years. One is zoomed in, showing contours every 2m, the other zoomed out to show the hills we've loved exploring over the years. Home is marked on each with an 18ct gold granule.
