Netherlands Map Wall Piece
A beautiful map commission for J, who I met in Manchester at the Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair last October. Her roots are in this lovely, watery flat land, and she wanted a special art piece to portray these ties. Instead of contours, we focused on the bodies of water - the rivers, canals (a snippet of them) and of course the ocean. 3 important cities for J are marked with silver granules.
